This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.   • Keep and update bank details and bank accounts signatories for the region.
  • Consolidate the analysis of cash flow forecast are within the approved limit.
  • Review regional monthly cashflow by country based on countries’ forecasts for the RFOM’s review.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax legislation in respect of financial matters.
  • Monitor/Manage transactions to partners.
  • Ensure Finance fulfils the agreed roles for payroll management.
  • Manage general ledger and cash management processes.
  • Prepare regional office monthly cashflow for the RFOM’s review.
  • Support to countries and Regional Hub related to corporate financial policies.
  • Ensure standardization of processes in the region.
  • Lead best practices and coordinate with countries along the region.
  • Give support to the CO´s when necessary.
  • Support the RFOM in communicating instructions and milestones within the region for including long-term planning, accounting, year-end process and cash flow forecasting, internal control.
  • Facilitate and coordinate business planning processes.
  • Ensure funds availability for 13 countries in the region.
  • Supervise and couch the Regional Office Accountant.
  • Provide support to 13 countries in the year end process through review of year end instruction and review and consolidation of year end schedules and coordinate the external audit process.
  • Support annual plan and budgeting process submission for the ROA region with an approximate annual budget of around USD 100 million.
  • To support the Regional Finance and Operations Manager (RFOM) to implement global and regional financial strategies. The Regional Finance Controller provides effective and efficient support to the RO and Regional accounting, treasury, financial and internal control practices/systems, the maintenance of its financial records and the preparation of its financial reports. Possibility of 20% of the time for travels within the countries in the Region and occasionally to operations headquarters in UK One of the locations where Plan International has a Country Office in the ROA region and which you have the pre-existing right to live and work.
